EVENT PRODUCTION

Lighting design and operation, as well as audio, power, rigging and video technician for events of any size, from intimate shows to outdoor festivals, working with light, colour and technology to bring a performance to life is my passion.

TELEVISION - LIGHTING + TECH

Working with WhitebaitMedia to produce flexible studio lighting and run broadcast technology - helping dreams come true and sets come to life since 2015.

  • Custom LED Set Lighting installed for Brain Busters, What Now and The Feed

  • Sparks Lighting Design and Operation for the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Christchurch City Council - 2020, 2022 and 2023.

  • Lighting Power, Data and Motor Control System Design and Build for Electric Avenue Music Festival, Bay Dreams South Island, Six60 Saturdays South Island, Golden Lights, Fat Boy Slim, Netsky, LAB/Shapeshifter, Groove Armada Napier/Wellington, plus countless other Town Hall/Arena shows and tours and Corporate dinners/plenaries and expos.

  • Lighting Design and Operation in the Theatre and Ice Skating Rink onboard Adventure of the Seas - Cruise Ship (2018)

  • Lighting operator for many shows using a combination of Hog 3/4, GrandMA 2 and 3, and Resolume Arena, with the use of a variety of OSC, ArtNet, sACN and DMX systems up to 64 Universes.

  • Video/Lighting integration for pixel mapping using Resolume Arena and ArtNet

  • Use of Companion and Stream Deck's for control of production systems, including a full lighting console replacement for The Feed.

  • Lighting and Production design and plot creation using CAST WYSIWYG

  • Basic use of Sony Broadcast Camera Chains, EVS XT3 VT/Replay Systems, Riedel Comms Artist Systems, SDI distribution and routing as a Technical Manager at WhitebaitMedia
